Nea Somogyi is an artist from San José, Costa Rica. She graduated from the National Theatre Workshop of Costa Rica in Acting and Theatre Promotion, as well as from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, NY in Musical Theatre. She has previous experience working in film, television, theatre, web series, commercials, photography modeling, concerts and performance. Among her film work you can find December 1964 (Dir. Malcolm Quinn Silver), ID (Dir. Andrea Dorlhiac) and Pray (Dir. Arielle Duran). Among here web series work are Planeta Valiente (Dir. Walter Fernández) and LILP (Dir. Miguel Gómez). Some of the roles she has done in theatre are Luscinda from Don Quijote de La Mancha (A CR production directed by L. C. Vázquez), Andrea from Crema y Chocolate en Café Concert (A CR production directed by Claudia Barrionuevo) and Indalecia from Historias del Fusil (A CR production directed by Melvin Méndez). Recent musical theatre credits include On The Flip Side by Gary Apple (Dir. Jay Stern) and Will Wilson Saves The World by Lyndsey Chance and Michelle Lugo. She is fluent in Spanish and English, and has had voiceover training in both languages.
