Nea Somogyi is an artist from San José, Costa Rica. She's a proud alumni of the National Theatre Workshop of Costa Rica and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. She has a variety of work experience in film, television, theatre, web series, commercials, photography modeling, concerts and performance. Among her film work you can find At Cafe Envoy, Everything is Cool (Dir. Moss Johnston), December 1964 (Dir. Malcolm Quinn Silver), Apple Pie Dreams (Dir. Sasha Voroboyev) and The Last Trip (Dir. Hernández Mago). Among her web series work are Planeta Valiente (Dir. Walter Fernández) and LILP (Dir. Miguel Gómez). Some of the roles she has done in theatre are Luscinda from Don Quijote de La Mancha (Dir. L. C. Vázquez), Andrea from Crema y Chocolate en Café Concert (Dir. Claudia Barrionuevo) and Indalecia from Historias del Fusil (Dir. Melvin Méndez). Recent musical theatre credits include On The Flip Side by Gary Apple (Dir. Jay Stern) and Will Wilson Saves The World by Lyndsey Chance and Michelle Lugo. She's a native Spanish speaker, and has trained in other areas like voice over, stage combat and fitness/yoga.
